“Junky lungs”

I wanted to depict how I feel my lungs look after smoking for as long as I have. The webs resemble a junky sticky feeling wrapped around my lungs And rib bones. I put a horse by my neck area as a metaphor for a horse cough.

“Stafford Trip”

This painting is very special if the fact it was a huge moment for me as an artist. I feel as if this painting was really the start of a whole journey. This painting is about a trip My cousin and I took through Stafford and saw a hallucination that put me in a circus and this is exactly what I saw!

“Outta these world problems”

2022

When ever I create a painting it’s always just a freestyle and subconsciously I create these symbols within my painting that I don’t understand until I’m finished, with that being said this one I’m really proud of this one! Starting off with the pink in the lower left resembles a dog just like when you smoke you get a harsh throat feels kinda like a bark when you cough. The dog is also a bong you can tell by the blue dots being bubbles. The grey figure above it resembles an out of this world understanding you get theme you smoke. The blue centerpiede coming out the head resembles almost like a worm that burrows in your head and never leaves just like an addiction. The way the centerpiede looks it also resembles a brain that’s connected to the yellow and black face under it. That’s what I feel like I resemble. A harsh dark interior but a happy joyful exterior. Finally the figure representing me( the yellow and black face has smoke skulls coming out of its mouth. If you have gotten this far I appreciate you reading through and hope you enjoyed what it’s like looking at my art through my eyes and heart!

“Animal balloons”

2022

Even though this painting was supposed to just be fun and just an experiment, I still feel like it means more then I think. I look at this and see the curiosity in the figure expression and it reminds me of myself. I’m very curious and always learning new things when I can. I love to explore and adventure when I can. Very much child like I try to have fun like when I use to want animal balloons as a kid. I see this and really reminds me of my personality. I went from painting emotions to an actual personality of myself on this painting

“BOXING”

2019

I painted this senior year if High-school. It’s about when I use to box and I got knocked out from an upper cut when I was sparring. From that experience it humbled me and made me realize how important my health is and sometimes it’s ok to say I can’t. Sometimes it’s better to choose what’s best then continue for the sake of your pride.

“BOXING”

2022

I redid the painting from 2019 but added my element of what I been working on now! Such as the uv paint as well as the reflective paint as well. The changes in style is dramatic but you can still see a part of the old me In there too!

“Melting Pot” 2022

This painting expresses classes in society. It’s crazy that something like money can divide us so much! Yet we are all the same on the inside so why does it even matter? The right side depicts the higher class while the left side depicts the lower class. Higher class tends to think more about money and time management. The lower class depicts more free forming lines as well as added flowers for the it’s all about life and weed aspect of it. I feel like this painting for me is more meaningful in a way because it isn’t just about self reflection like the rest but more if a life style I tend to live and can relate to. I really love this painting for that very reason! I can see the shift of moving in progress in my artwork and hope to create more with such a deeper meaning then just myself.

“Tired”

2022

When ever I created this I was going through a bunch of stress about getting my car fixed and as of right now still am lol. But it was crazy when I went in on it and I noticed the lines looking like tire marks. Then the expressions on the faces depict almost like the events leading up and while in the middle of a car crash. You have the first face whistling Ans the lower 2 screaming. As dark as this is it brings out an understanding that yes its just about tires but the stress that goes along with knowing you need to get your car fixed but keep pushing it back.

“Freeforming” pt1

2022

This is just a freestyle I did that I really liked a lot! I love how the head all fit in with each other and complement one another. Sometimes just freestyling and having fun can produce the most meaningful work when you least expect it!

“The Road Less Traveled By”

This painting represents life’s cross roads. You have the single road in the middle it goes up then goes down towards the end. That road represents life itself. Your birthed in the world then you live just to fall off towards the end because of death. I represented that by having the bridge go up then go down towards the end. The middle of the bridge is safe you know your in the narrow path, but you have this wavy unclear road in the middle. The wavy road represents the unknown. You can’t see too far infront of you and you take unexpected turns when you embrace the unknown. The wavy road is between 2 big faces. The faces are the scary haters yelling at you to turn back. I love this peice it really makes me reflect on my own path in life and I can relate it to what I’m feeling and what I’m going through. The composition and colors are so bright yet so ominous. Inlife what path are you going to take? The straight forward one? Or the one less traveled by ?

“Chaotic Reflection 1”

18x24in

Acrylic

This painting represents myself. I took a lot from what I have been going through as well as the people around me were going through in the last year or so. I take aspects of greif, greed, addiction, paranoia And fear all in one painting. I depict these “creatures” In my painting as emotions to help convey what I’m going through. I as well use colors to tie in the creatures with the appropriate emotion that it correlates to. It’s crazy to think that so much can happen in a year but sometimes it feels like the year takes forever to get over with.

VOTE

18x24 in

Acrylic

This peice uses symbolic imagery to convey the emotions that we as humans go through when voting. The figure projects hands from its head to imply that all hands on deck is needed when voting! The blue hand forcing the eye open makes the figure focus on the perspective of change. The clouds behind in the eyes is the figures mindset of wanting change to be done. The figures teeth grinding wanting to project is voice about what needs to be done to help the community. Multiple votes riddle the back in different colors to represent the multiple view points we have as people when we vote. Rings around the neck to convey that sometimes we feel like our voice can be caged up and not able to be heard. The hand clenches the vote that the figure wants to send out in hopes of their opinions being heard. Power written on the wrist to show that we as people have the power in the masses when it comes to sending out our vote. We as the people need growth but the only way our voices can be heard is by voting.

“ROCKEM SOCKEM ROBOTS”

This peice is inspired by my coach. He use to call us this when we would spar because we would just be throwing out blows to the face of where ever just to knock them out. In the moment you forget about all the training and you get in your own head, you kinda just forget about techniques and that’s when this term comes up” Rockem sockem robots”

“ Did we dream too fast?”

This is a collage I made using old National Geographic’s that my freinds would give me or ones I found at old book stores. I really just did these for fun and because my mentor inspired me to try something new and collaging was the medium he chose to work in. This one is about the idea of dreams and how sometimes we might jump to them too soon. We all have done it before and idea we think might happen to come true. I played with this idea of the world ending and the joker over head taunting at the concept of failure. I have the space astronauts sent up to space told what to do blindly by who ever when we as human barley know enough about what’s here on earth but we are sending people up to space when we know so little. Did we dream too fast as a collective or individually.

“Under the system of life”

This collage is about society as a whole. We live under multiple systems a day. We are worked by a cooperation a business a company where ever every day. The system is a routine we are just used to going through every day. A system can also mean a peice of technology. We are constantly dictated by machines and technology every second of the day. Weather we are at work or even at home we are under some type of system at all times. Moving mindlessly based on whatever gets the most attention weather it’s showing up to work early every day or posting a pic for likes. Under a system.

“Presenting out new incredible nightmare”

This collage is based on the wealthier watch the lower class survive on a daily basis. We have people in this world that have money to help

With certain issues we all suffer from. As a small example higher bussiness ran by certain people dictating how gas prices can range so they can make the most money while we are down here taking the damage trying to make it by. It’s crazy how far from realities that we have depending on the class your in, hence why the higher ups are almost alienated from down blow in the choas unfolding. All .Such a small picture compared the colossal nightmare of a picture towing over it.
